address of thanks (WWJUyseco version)

i may not have graduated with high honors or distinction. i may be as plain as a bowl of soup. i may be just an ordinary graduate, but i can't help but feel so much gratitude inside of me. there are a lot of people that i wish to thank, but words in itself are too limited to fully express my eternal gratitude to the people who helped me along the way.

my family, friends, loved ones, professors
it is with great pride that i finished my degree bachelor of arts major in Asian Studies, but it is with great honor that i finished it because of you.

four years ago, i entered college, hopeful - hopeful that someday i may bring home my degree with high distinction. that obviously did not push through, but because i know i worked very hard for it, i am still proud of myself. i am proud of myself not because i just graduated, but because i know i did my best, not only academically, but also in the extra-curricular arm of my colorful college life. today, i am still hopeful - hopeful that someday i will touch many lives, and contribute much to the growth of society as a responsible citizen.

with this, i wish to thank my parents, classmates, mentors and tormentors for it is through them that i learned how to love, to know, to understand, and to inspire.

Asian Studies 1, you taught me how to reach out, to love, and to hate to the extent of pushing my social responsibilities to the limits. thanks guys

i can't help but mention the names of the greatest professors in the world...
Sir Mabahague, for teaching me the basics of Asian Studies. without you, i couldn't have go on. i learned to love AS because of you. i enjoyed your teachings about Thomas Kühn, paradigm shifts, and so on. thank you sir
Ma'am Eloisa De Castro, for your unending passion to teach and inspire my life. your explanations of geography and or Rizal's life made me a proud Filipino. your teachings of common sensical and in-depth study of details made me critical about my work. thank you ma'am
Dr. Co, for making me become a proud Filipino-Chinese. your greatness is beyond compare.
Ma'am Estacio, for your every advise and teaching that made me learn more about life and of research. thank you very much ma'am, it is through you that i learned how to become patient with my work.
Sir Dalangin, the living legend of AS, i couldn't have succeeded in my pursuit of a degree if it weren't for you and your philosophies. thank you sir, you brought me back to life.
Dean Vasco, Indian philosophy became easier to comprehend and love because of your greatness.
Ma'am Dumawal, thank you for pushing me to my limits.
and Sir Baron, your explanations and intellectual insights made me shine brighter as i finished college. thank you sir!

at the end, it is with each and everyone of you that i believed to become a part of the sea of excellence.

carpe diem!

and as Mohandas Karamchand Gandhi once said, and i quote: "man is a product of his thoughts; what he thinks, he becomes." i did become great in my ways, and forever will i become sublime because of you

thank you
